In CloutCraft you become an online influencer. The game is a simulation of imagined social media. None of your posts actually go to any real-life social media. Everything lives on the game’s server.
The Labyrinth is the name of the gameworld in CloutCraft. Full of static, noise, memes, doom scrolling, echo chambers, misinformation, fleeting opinions and alternative facts. Your quest as an influencer is to cut through this noise and become a Luminary.
The primary way to get your message out into the Labyrinth and eventually become a Luminary is by influencing others with your posts.
Role: The primary measure of your reach and audience size within the Labyrinth.
How to get them: Gained primarily by making posts. The number of followers gained can be influenced by post type, quality, content angle, viral status, and more.
Impact: Directly drives your Influence Tier. A higher follower count means you're a more significant "light" in the Labyrinth.
Role: The main spendable in-game currency. It represents your general influence, ability to make things happen, and invest in your growth.
How to get it: Earned from posts (alongside followers), and through in-game events.
Use: Purchasing tangible upgrades and activities.
The core of being a "Luminary." It's about the quality and truth of your light, not just its brightness.
Role: The narrative and authenticity score. Represents the strength and genuineness of your "spark" and your success in creating meaningful connections rather than just chasing engagement.
How to get it: Primarily earned by choosing the "Ignite Your Spark" (authentic) content angle when posting. The amount earned is judged by a secret algorithm. Viral authentic posts could give a significant Luminosity bonus.
Use: Unlocking deeper narrative such as special story angles, insights into the Labyrinth, interactions with other Luminaries, and unlocking special abilities.
Role: Represents your overall progression and status as an influencer within the Labyrinth.
How to earn them: Primarily driven by Follower count and Luminosity.
Impact: Unlocks new Post Types and other gameplay features.
Our game is completely free to play and designed so everyone can enjoy a great, long lasting experience without spending a cent. That said, for those who want to personalize, or unlock some extra sparkle, we offer optional premium perks. These are purchasable game-features that enhance your experience.
How they generally work: Certain game elements have a 💎icon indicating a Premium Perk. When selected, you are presented with a purchasing screen offering common payment processors. After successful payment the perk will immediately unlock and become active (unless otherwise indicated).
These perks don’t give unfair advantages, but they add depth, flair, convenience, cosmetics, or fun twists to your journey. Think of them as extra toppings on an already delicious cake 🍰 – totally optional, always delightful!
